Since completing his first degree in 1980 Chris has worked in various capacities in the jewellery trade, as well as silversmithing and jewellery education

Over this time, his work has ranged from the thought provoking to the highly commercial

Until recently Chris was head of Crafts education at Buckinghamshire New University in High Wycombe. However in 2011 he decided to leave full-time education and dedicate himself once again to his own work, making bespoke pieces of jewellery to commission.

“I love teaching, I have been involved in it most of my working life. It’s fantastic, but leaves little time to think about anything else. I also love working with clients and making things for them. People kept asking me to design and make things for them, but I had no time. So I decided I needed to make a change.
